Welcome to Scrapbook Adventures – Exploring Devon, Cornwall & Beyond
A big hello and welcome to Scrapbook Adventures!
My name’s Rachel and I love exploring Devon and Cornwall, traveling to new countries and blogging my memories! I currently live in the beautiful county of Devon and am completing my doctoral training to become a Clinical Psychologist for the NHS. Before moving to Devon I lived in Cornwall and fell in love with its stunning beaches, charming villages and the laid-back way of life. It was here I decided to start documenting my adventures in the hope of sharing this wonderful slice of England life with others.
A little more about me…
I was born and raised in Kent and after leaving home aged 18 to study Clinical Psychology at university I have lived in various counties across the South of the country. As you’ve probably guessed a favourite hobby of mine is scrapbooking – I have made countless scrapbooks of holidays, events and adventures I’ve been on. Whilst I love scrapbooking, it can be timely and costly and ultimately nobody gets to see the adventures but me! Luckily for me, my boyfriend Nathan, who handily happens to be a web designer, offered to make me my own website as a solution to solving my scrapbooking woes. He helped me develop my ideas for the blog and in May 2017 Scrapbook Adventures was born! I love being able to create my scrapbooks online and easily post and share my adventures with you.
In the last year, I have been lucky enough to explore much of Devon and Cornwall and places further afield such as Dorset, Somerset, Scotland, and Italy. I have partnered with many local attractions and reviewed some awesome places to stay in the South West. If you are interested in working with me please get in touch through my contact page.
Please feel free to comment on any of the posts – I’d love to hear from you! Let me know what you think about the places I’ve visited, whether you’ve been to them too and what you thought! Feel free to share any of your favourite adventures and give me ideas about cool places to explore!
Lots of love and happy adventuring!
