Cornwall Bucket List

Cornwall Bucket List

I’m lucky to have lived in Cornwall for over 2 years and have been on many adventures and seen lots of brillaint Cornish sights. However, times are a changing and I am moving to live in Exeter  in September 2017. Whilst Exeter isn’s that far away – I am sad to be leaving such a brilliant place where I feel so at home. In case I never return (which clearly I will) I have created a Cornwall Bucket List of things I want to do and places I want to see in Cornwall before the summer is out.

CORNWALL BUCKET LIST:

Places

Climb Brown Willy (highest point in Cornwall)

Go to the Isles of Scilly

Visit Poldark Mine

Eat at the Jamaica Inn

Go to Bodmin Jail

Visit St Michaels Mount ✔

Go to the Seal Sanctuary  ✔

Look around the Japanese Gardens (St Mawgan)

Visit Lanhydrock (Bodmin)

Eat at Carn Brea Castle

Events

Feast night at The Hidden Hut, Porthcurnick

Watch the Lands End Summer Fireworks

Go Cornish camping ✔

Have lots of beach BBQs

Let me know what you think of the list and whether you think there is something missing that’s a Cornwall must do! Just pop your comments in the box below 🙂

Hi, we’ve just returned from a few days in Cornwall…you know you’re spoilt for choice when St Ives isn’t the best beach you’ve visited haha.

Love your bucket list idea… the weather was too good for inside activities, but would love to return to the Lizard to explore the Chocolate Factory! Wouldn’t mind the Lands End fireworks, too… from Sennen, course!

Hi Emma, thanks for your comment! There are so many nice beaches, it’s super hard to have a favourite! Chocolate factory! I’ve not heard about this but will be checking it out now and possibly adding to the list!

What an awesome idea to have a town bucket list! It really is amazing to live in a town you just love exploring in!

Thanks, I think we often take for granted where we live and what’s on our doorsteps!

What a fresh idea for staycations. Plus I’m a sucker for lists of all sorts! So many new takes on bucket lists.

Thanks, I think we often over look staycations and the cool places that are around us! Having bucket lists makes me push to tick them off all so I end up seeing more!
